Peter Hoeft


Peter has been leading Hoeft Builders since 2004. He has grown the business by abiding by the company’s core mission: "Build rock solid relationships by building rock solid projects."

Peter has negotiated hundreds of projects including retail, senior living, medical, automotive and various other commercial capacities. Peter specializes in real estate development, project financing and project management.

Before returning home in 2004, Peter earned his B.S. degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. After college, Peter worked as a Project Manager for an ENR top 100 firm in Denver, Colorado. He worked on large scale commercial projects, including apartment complexes, retail centers, and education projects.

Peter serves as a Board Member for the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation.

Jay Rideout

Vice President of Operations/Principal

Jay has been with Hoeft Builders since 2009. He started as a superintendent, was promoted to Project Manager, and in 2013 Jay was promoted again to Vice President of Operations. Jay is a principal owner at Hoeft Builders.

Jay’s prior experience includes working for a large design build firm in St. Louis, as a project manager. He also spent years as an on-site superintendent with a commercial construction company in the Twin Cities.

Customer satisfaction has always been a priority for Jay and Hoeft Builders. Turning over quality projects on-time and on-budget has resulted in lasting relationships and a satisfied customer base.

Luke Rykal

Senior Project Manager/Principal

Luke joined Hoeft Builders in 2012 as a Project Manager, he was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2016 and is a principal owner at Hoeft Builders. Luke oversees our project manager team and is currently working on multiple projects for the company.

Luke’s prior experience includes working for a design build firm in Appleton, WI as a Site Superintendent and Project Manager. Additionally, he worked as a Site Superintendent for one of the largest home builders in the United States.

Luke feels that relationships build success and the start of that is through customer satisfaction.

Maureen Carlson

Director of Business Development

Maureen serves as Director of Business Development. Maureen has more than 25 years of professional marketing, business development and economic development experience. Maureen is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Wisconsin and a skilled marketing and project management professional.

Maureen also has a thorough understanding of economic incentives available through the local, state and federal agencies. Maureen serves on the Children's Museum of Eau Claire, the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation and the Momentum West Board of Directors.

Robb Majeski

Partner and Owner Cottagewood Group

Robb started the Cottagewood Group in 2007. His responsibilities range from land acquisition to real estate management. Robb has a thorough understanding of the development process from project ideas to the long-term client relationship of real estate owner/manager.

Robb specializes in negotiating with city planning and zoning staff, site and architectural design review, construction material selections, lease terms, managing client relationships and completed real estate projects.

Prior to owning the Cottagewood Group, Robb worked in facilities management with Rockwell Automation. He received his B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Minnesota – Duluth.

Jared Matson

Project Manager

Jared has worked on multiple Holiday Convenience Store, Slumberland projects and many other projects for Hoeft Builders.

Jared received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with minors in Safety & Risk Control and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jared’s strong work ethic and experience managing multiple projects make him a valued team member at Hoeft Builders.

Jesse Jaskowski

Project Manager, PMP

Jesse has 10 years of professional construction experience, he most recently worked for Global Finishing Solutions for 7 years, starting out as a Project Manager and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2016. Jesse has extensive experience managing multiple projects and holds the Project Management Professional Certification.

Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and Minor in Business Administration. Jesse is married and has three daughters, and in his free time he enjoys spending time with the family and hunting. Jesse is a valued team member at Hoeft Builders.

Jamie Kramer

Project Manager, PMP

Jamie has 12 years of commercial project management experience, he most recently served as Senior Project Manager for a regional company. Jamie has worked on commercial construction projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million. Jamie holds the Project Management Professional certification and he is OSHA certified. Prior to working as a Project Manager, Jamie worked in the design, engineering and manufacturing of custom equipment.

Jamie has extensive experience with contract review, site safety, budgeting and cost control, subcontractor management and scheduling. Jamie holds an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. Jamie has two children – Caden and Cullen.

Aaron Stern

Project Manager

Aaron is a 2012 graduate of the Construction Management program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. His minors included: Safety & Risk Control and Business Administration.

Aaron has worked in the construction field since 2010. His excellent customer relation and time management skills make him a true asset to Hoeft Builders.

Ron Bluemel

Senior Project Superintendent

Ron has been working for Hoeft Builders Inc. as a Senior Jobsite Superintendent for more than 25 years. During that time, he has developed an experience level that is unseen in the construction industry today.

Ron has supervised a wide range of projects: mixed use buildings, multi-family dwellings, restaurants, convenience stores and medical facilities. Ron’s dedication to achieving and maintaining positive customer relationships, along with producing a high quality product is outstanding and he has played a major role in the growth of Hoeft Builders.

Chris Colle

Senior Project Superintendent

Chris has been working as a project superintendent for Hoeft Builders since 2004. Chris started as carpenter then worked his way up to a construction foreman for an Eau Claire based builder 18 years ago which provided him a great construction and scheduling mindset.

Chris is OSHA certified and holds the forklift Class 7 certification. Chris has also proved himself as a leader in the field on numerous projects by always keeping the clients wants, needs, schedule and budget in mind.

Chris has completed a wide variety of projects including several convenience store remodels, multi-family dwellings, medical clinics, car dealerships, retail stores, and office buildings. His experience and attention to detail, along with great customer relations make him a true asset to Hoeft Builders.

Perry Dunlap

General Superintendent

Perry serves as General Superintendent at Hoeft Builders. Perry oversees the superintendents and carpenters. Perry has been in the construction field for more than 20 years. He has served in numerous leadership positions for other construction companies including: Site Superintendent and Lead Carpenter. Perry graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College with an Associate Degree in Wood Technics. He is married and has three children.

Chad Burish

Project Superintendent

Chad has worked on a variety of projects for Hoeft Builders including: Holiday Convenience Stores, MICON Cinemas, DeFatta ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery, multiple Taco Bell projects and Cheers Pablo to name a few. Chad graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management in 2013 with a GPA of 3.81. Chad served as an infantryman for the Army National Guard from 2006-2012. He served one tour in Iraq in 2010.

He served as a Field Engineer Intern for The Industrial Company during the summer of 2012. Chad’s strong leadership skills and work ethic serve him well in his position as Superintendent with Hoeft Builders, Inc.

Brandon Meyers

Project Superintendent

Brandon has been working in the construction industry since 2007. Brandon is also a Tank Commander for the Army National Guard and served one tour in Kuwait in 2011.

Brandon earned Associate Degrees in Construction Management and HVAC from North Hennepin Community College. Both Brandon’s construction experience and military service have provided him with a strong foundation and excellent leadership abilities. Brandon is a valued member of our team.

Dan German

Project Superintendent

Dan comes to Hoeft Builders with 15 years of professional construction experience including working as a carpenter, carpenter foreman, superintendent and project manager. Dan graduated with a degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2002. Outside of work Dan likes to spend time hunting, fishing and boating with his wife and three children.

Tres Boettcher

Project Superintendent

Tres has 23 years of commercial construction experience and has been with Hoeft Builders since 2015. Tres and his wife have one child and live in the Chippewa Valley. Outside of work Tres enjoys hunting and fishing.

Brandon O'Brien


Brandon has been working in commercial construction since 2008.  He graduated with his Bachelor Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Construction from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  In his spare time Brandon likes to hunt and fish and lives in Lake Hallie.

Jon Hanson


Jon has worked in the construction field for the last 20 years. He worked his way up in the construction field, he started out as a laborer, then carpenter and now Jon works as Project Superintendent.  Jon served as a Combat Engineer in the Army from 1994 to 2000.  Jon lives in Eau Claire with his wife and three children.

Alex Kelnhofer


Alex graduated with his Bachelor Degree in Construction Management in 2017 from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Alex worked for a general contractor in Minneapolis prior to working for Hoeft Builders.  Alex is an avid outdoorsman.

Dave Walker

Assistant Superintendent

Dave joined Hoeft Builders in 2018 and serves as Assistant Superintendent. Dave has been in the construction field serving a wide range of customers since 2006. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Dave possesses strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. In his spare time you can find Dave golfing or working out. Hoeft Builders is excited to have Dave on our team.

Aaron Anding

Assistant Superintendent

Aaron joined Hoeft Builders in 2018 and serves as Assistant Superintendent. Aaron has been in the construction industry since 2008. Aaron has eight years of professional experience in construction related industries. Aaron is OSHA and CPR certified. Outside of work you can find Aaron at the gym or spending time with his family.

Marco Solis-Reyes

Assistant Superintendent

Marco has three years of professional experience and most recently worked for Wells Fargo. Marco’s strong ability to work under pressure and his attention to detail make Marco a great team member. Marco is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Eau Claire for most of his life. Outside of work, Marco enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.

Sue Buroker


Sue has been working for Hoeft Builders since 1998.  She started as receptionist and book keeper and has moved up through the years, currently serving as Controller for the company.  Outside of work Sue enjoys crocheting, jewelry design, and traveling with her husband.

Kerry Hager

Project Assistant & Accounts Payable Coordinator

Kerry serves a dual role at Hoeft Builders – Project Assistant and Accounts Payable Coordinator. Prior to working for Hoeft Builders, Kerry served as Office Manager for First Supply and Senior Accountant for Goldridge Group in Eau Claire. Kerry is an avid runner and loves to read in her spare time. Kerry graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Geography Resource Management in 1999 and in 2004 with a degree in Accounting.

Shelley Briggs


Shelley is the receptionist at Hoeft Builders. She is the first person you see when you visit our office, she is always smiling and ready to help. Shelley enjoys baking, cooking and spending time with her family outside of work.

Patrick Hoeft

Hoeft Builders West

Patrick has 16 years of residential construction experience working in the Vail Valley, Colorado. Patrick worked for a large custom home contractor before opening Hoeft Builders West in 2009.

Patrick has completed large custom homes and full scale remodeling and renovation projects for numerous executives with Fortune 500 companies. Patrick’s customer base also includes internationally renowned, high profile individuals. His typical projects range from one million to several million.

Patrick is a “hands-on” owner and is involved in all aspects of the business providing excellent construction and property management services to his prestigious customers.

David Chavez

Hoeft Builders West

David joined the Hoeft Team in 2011 bringing more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

Being an expert in drywall and interior finishes he has a keen eye for quality and knows each vendor’s role and knows how to perform them himself as well. His earned respect from all subcontractors and from all of our clients is a real testament to his knowledge and understanding of every part of each project he is involved in.

His loyalty and pride in his work is something that all of us strive for. Not only is he an important member of the Hoeft Team, he is an extremely dedicated family man and shows even more pride in his wonderful family.

David brings more knowledge and ambition to work every day in which we all learn from every time he is on the job-site.
