Chippewa Valley Orthopedics Clinic

Altoona, WI - General Contractor project

In 2011, the owners of Chippewa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic needed a new building, but still had seven years left on their lease, so they called Hoeft Builders to see if there was a way we could help. Hoeft Builders agreed to purchase their old building to help facilitate their expansion project. Originally, Chippewa Valley Orthopedics wanted to build next to Oakleaf Surgical. White Pine Senior Living

Mendota Heights, MN - Construction Management project

White Pine Senior Living identified a site that was owned by a private developer and conducted research on the need for a memory care facility in the area.  Peter Hoeft and Robb Majeski created an LLC to purchase the land from the private developer. The project required city approval, and during the approval process it was determined that a main sanitary sewer line ran right the through the middle of the property. The city and the developer that owned the property sued each other over who is responsible for moving the sewer lines. Peter and Robb stepped in to resolve the feud and accomplished the following:

  • Agreed to move the sewer line
  • Renegotiated the terms with the developer
  • Received approval from the City on the project
  • Financed the project
  • Designed and  completed construction of the complex (a Construction Management project)
  • Turned over the project on-time and under budget

The operator of the center is extremely pleased with the outcome of the project and are running a very successful business.

Dunkin' Donuts

Eau Claire, WI - Tenant Improvement project

Hoeft Builders took the steps to become a Dunkin Donuts certified builders four years ago when it was announced that Dunkin Donuts would be opening in Eau Claire. We bid on the project, and because of our vast experience working on franchise restaurants and being headquartered in Eau Claire, we were awarded the tenant improvement project.  Once we got started on the project, we uncovered some issues with the building.  We worked closely with the landlord and corrected the issues.  There have been no change orders on this project.
