A Vail Resort – Construction Management project
Vail Resorts purchased Afton Alps and were looking to make some improvements to the ski hill. Peter Hoeft, an experienced downhill ski enthusiast, pursued a relationship with Vail Resorts. Hoeft Builders worked on conceptual pricing for the project making recommendations on what needed to be done to enhance the customers experience at Afton Alps. Hoeft Builders went head-to-head with Krause Anderson and Ryan Companies on this project and was awarded the project as Construction Manager because of the strict attention to detail and passion for the customer’s experience. Hoeft Builders completed the renovation of the following building at Afton Alps:
- Alpine Chalet
- Guest Services
- Paul’s Pub
- Crest facilities
Construction Cost: $1,200,000
Construction started the first week in August 2013 and was completed December 2013 with all projects completed before the lifts open.
